About the Project

reLAWed is an interactive digital platform developed to facilitate the proposal and public consultation of legislative amendments in a transparent and collaborative manner. The project aims to modernize how citizens, organizations, and institutions engage with the legislative process, offering an intuitive and efficient digital tool.

The Challenge

The client required:

  • An intuitive digital portal, accessible to both legal professionals and the general public.
  • Advanced features for submitting, reviewing, and commenting on proposed legislative changes.
  • Full traceability of amendments and public feedback.
  • A modern, fully responsive interface compatible with all devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).

The Solution

We developed the reLAWed platform using a modular and scalable architecture:

  • Technologies used: Drupal CMS (for complex content and approval workflows), PHP, MySQL, Bootstrap for responsive design.
  • Key features:
    • Custom modules for submitting amendment proposals and public commenting.
    • Versioning and traceability system for each legislative document.
    • Configurable workflows for approval and publishing of amendments.
    • Automated notifications for updates and new comments.
    • User-friendly administrative interface for moderators and content managers.
  • Accessibility: Built to meet WCAG 2.1 standards for users with disabilities.
  • Security: Advanced authentication standards, anti-spam protection, and strict backup and recovery policies were implemented.
